The Role
In our Deputy Home Manager, we look for people who are experienced in senior positions within a nursing care setting and are familiar with regulations and legislation. It is beneficial but not essential to be skilled in budgeting and administration.
Closely supporting our Registered Home Manager, our Deputy Home Manager is responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and you’ll play a pivotal role in team leadership. Part of this role will be to support in devising rotas, oversee training and conducting supervisions, you will be a key part delivering a wonderful service to our residents. In Akari part of the role of being a Deputy Home Manager is to take a hands-on approach to care too.
What we need from you?
You have a minimum of a Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and have, or be willing, to work towards the Leadership and Management Award
Hold an NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
Experience of working in the health care sector
Be driven, motivated and believe in quality of care
Possess strong leadership and management qualities whilst taking on a dynamic and flexible approach to the role
